Connections Consultancy
IUS can provide a Connections Consultancy Service facilitating Distribution Network Operator (DNO) power supplies throughout the UK. Utilising our knowledge of the utility connection consultancy market we can give a co-ordinated approach to the project.
IUS work closely with its clients from the planning stage onwards, to ensure local requirements are understood and built into designs and the planning process. A team of consultant engineers and a project manager represent the interest of the client with all third parties involved in the planning and connection. As well as the DNO this may include landowners, tenants and developers.
IUS can also offer engineering expertise by evaluating designs to ensure safety and other regulatory issues are adhered to.
In addition to the physical connection to utilities we will also manage the local supply agreement and installation of meters.
