Are you inspecting and maintaining your electrical systems?
Maintenance activities throughout the UK are facilitated via our High Voltage Customer Service (HVCS) team. Owners and operators of high voltage equipment have a legal responsibility for their apparatus. IUS have operation and maintenance agreements with more than 1,500 customers, assisting to prolong the life of their equipment and to comply with current legislation.
Under an operation and maintenance agreement, IUS will provide authorised personnel and implement our safe systems of work in order to help network owners meet their legal obligations. These include regular substation and plant inspections, programmed maintenance, recommendations to rectify defects and updating and maintaining records.
Other services facilitated via the HVCS include mains conditioning, condition monitoring, provision of generators, system studies.
