The Brief: A former colliery site was to be redeveloped for housing. IUS advised the project consultant about the infrastructure requirements for the complete site, on which over 900 properties would be built.
The Solution: IUS arranged for the design and installation of the utilities around the spine road to the development consortium and individual projects for 4 major customers on 6 housing sites within the development. The package included Gas, Water, Electricity, BT and the supply, erection and connection of street lighting columns.
The Results: The project is progressing well with over 700 houses connected.
