The Brief: Barratt Homes require utility services connecting to 270 domestic properties on a development site at Penistone near Barnsley. Included within the brief was the opportunity to consider a Multi Utility approach.
The Solution: IUS are providing a complete multi utility package that includes design and installation of Gas, Water and Electricity utilities in a common trench. This approach reduces excavation costs, utility installation times and also allows the control of risk on site to be made easier.
The Results: IUS are managing the whole project from initial enquiry through to the connection of the individual meters at each property. We provide a single point of contact for the Barratt Homes Site Manager to meet his utility requirements.
