Customer Name: Marshall Construction (West Yorkshire) Ltd
The Brief: Two substations were required at a commercial and industrial complex in Manchester's Trafford Park. The network would service three sections of what was originally called Liquorice Park. Marshall Construction decided to place this contestable work out to competitive tender to a number of bidders.
The Solution: IUS designed, supplied, installed and commissioned two 6,000/433 volt substations together with associated cables. All apparatus was procured and installed to United Utilities adoptable standards.
The Results: IUS completed this high-profile contract to timescales with excellent performance on safety, quality and cost.
