DNOCentral Networks Framework Service Provider
Customer Name: E.ON (Central Networks)
The Brief: IUS were required to provide a key strategic service, delivering agreed volumes of works across four major platforms in the East and West Midlands. Within these platforms of Maintenance, System Improvements, Connections and Diversions, we would operate from low voltage through to 132kV, for both underground and overhead networks.
The Solution: IUS established a main operating centre in Hucknall with satellite locations at Grantham in the East and Cannock in the West. We implemented a robust management structure, which evolved over an eight year period to meet the contractual delivery obligations. To meet the out-turn requirements IUS balanced a mixture of in-house staff and approved contracted resource providers.
The Results: IUS functionally aligned with the Central Networks organisation and effectively delivered their investment plans over an eight year period with year on year growth.
